Well as a lover of the romance genre around the time when this anime came out I was thirsty there wasn't much to find that turned my interest so I thought I try something random. So I stumbled across this amazing thing. So Bakemonogatari is an arc type of anime if you don't know what arc type animes are then look them up they are interesting if done correctly. So lets get to the key points on why you would watch this anime lets start with the good. Now I may sound very biased in my explanation but bear with me so the more clear reasons would be first of all animation this was done by Studio Shaft and there art style is unique and with an anime like this where its mainly about animation and dialog they have to put out and they do a great job doing so I would say its one of the key points in watching the show. Next is dialog well if you aren't a fan of non consistent action then this isn't for you but if you are willing to give it a try and are able to deal with engaging non sense dialog then come watch the dialog is creative and change due to respective characters which does lead to the next topic, Characters in these types of anime's must be unique and this is where I think the best part of this anime lies the characters range from different personality's as some are stereotypical to some just down right different and this all is tied together perfectly I didn't find a character I dislike all characters at least got a decent amount of screen time and left some impression on me. Alright now to music and sound well sadly too these two there isn't much to brag on about to be honest there wasn't no memorable tracks it was just good thats all nothing godly it got the job done and it didn't take away much from my final judgement of the show but nonetheless it wasn't anything that helped it. Overall this anime was given an reasonable 8 and put in the top 10 of my favorite anime's so if you are looking for an anime that will take you by surprise with it's unique dialog and engaging characters then please check this out its worth your time.
