The anime WASN'T as bad as my scoring, but first things first!
Story: 5
you can hang me from a tree, but lets be honest, the story wasn't really going anywhere. the first 5-6 episodes was really really good, but i couldn't find a phrase to describe this anime to my pals. When I was asked "what was this anime about", i really couldnt find out the objective in my head. Unfortunately even on episode 23/24 i couldn't.

Everything was really well made, from the buildings, to the dim places around the city. The major flaw was on the protagonists. Except Celty, everyone else was emotionless. I couldnt bring my self out and say "now that's sadness on his/her eyes" for example. I think most of the people agree here
Sound: 7
The intro with the flashback from the previous episodes in it was absolutely AMAZING! The chosen songs were perfect and the scenery was really good! but the rest rest of the OST was okey.
Character: 3
Almost every character didnt stand on their act and beliefs. They were presented as "A" lets say, and their acts were "B". If you can't blend with the characters' psycological controversy from the begining then the anime is doomed inside of you.... I tried to prove myself wrong and didnt "drop it", casue I was hoping for a climax. Izaya let me down. So did Celty after ....................*SPOILER ALERT*................she found out that her bf knew about her head. That's too unrealistic, unbased, and brings out a huge controversy about the Celty's charactaer and the "viciousness" she carried out when she was taking lifes like a shinigami.....................*END OF SPOILER*...................
To summerise, the characters where too dull and confusing for the plot. They didnt stand up for any belief and they didnt have a purpose. I put a 3/10 because i liked Shizuo and not a 1/10..

There was no climax, there was no anticipation for the next episode and the time i spent on this anime i think has gone to waste, cause it didn't change me inside at all...
If you really want to pinpoint any flaws on my review and way of thought, i would appreciate it because it would be great to find a reason to like this anime like many peeps do :) :)
