Yato is just too cute for words. He is funny but he's got an edge to him. My only complaint is that I didn't get to see his background very much or an explanation of why he has changed, but hopefully there will be a second season.
Yukine...is irritating. But, I suppose it was only for a few episodes and before and after that he is tolerable.
The other characters are interesting, especially Kofuku and her man.
The story is pretty unique and I never got bored with it. It seemed more about the characters, their relationships, the look, the comedy, more than the actual plot to be honest. But I was totally fine with that. It kind of has this devil is part timer vibe to it? But it's way better than that show. Maybe like, Devil is a part timer crossed with Durarara.
The OST is really, really good and the animation is terrific. The fight scenes were really good and there weren't too many of them which kept them interesting.
It has AMAZING VA's in it. You could watch it just for that. Every time a new character came in it was another awesome VA.
I was really feeling for the characters the whole way through. I was laughing a lot. And even though it did feel rushed toward the end, I didn't really mind. It is a very, sort of eccentric show. The way the characters interact and things they do are very unexpected and catch you off guard. That was very refreshing since a lot of anime can be very cliched and predictable.
I highly recommend this! It is pure entertainment with a heart and brain.
