The characters were what truly surprised me the most. All of the characters were just very well made in my opinion and each and everyone of them assists in progressing the plot which is rare to see in most shows these days. I even enjoyed the main heroine, which is pretty rare for me honestly. It's true that she has her moments where she seems overbearing and she might make you cringe at times but all of those moments, believe it or not, only help improve her personality and make you realize just how deserving she truly is. In fact almost all the characters have their moments of failure that might just piss you off at bit but those moments only build their personalities and help you better understand just what they're going through. In a way, all of the characters have their redeeming moments and that's one of many reasons I truly enjoyed this show.
Overall, this is a fantastic watch for those looking for something better than your average romance anime which is mostly comprised of high school kids bitching and whining over a few trivial things. Which is why I'm glad it took place in college instead of high school. As for the overall enjoyment of this anime, I truly think you'll be satisfied. This show will give you chills, make you cringe, and make you want to scream at some of the characters but in the end they always give you a very satisfying and very fitting resolution to all of the conflicts and challenges that the characters face, so I thoroughly believe that you shall receive a lot of enjoyment and satisfaction from this tear jerking love story.
