Well I have come again to judge the interesting and the boring, unfortunately this anime falls between the two. The story of Horo and Lawrence was a very interesting one, involving the trick of the trade of...well trading! Horo, a wolf god, accompanies Lawrence to escape her fate at the hands of some ungrateful farmers. Casually, Lawrence accepts and eventually changes her into his partner. Then along the way, they have their run ins with some financial and political figures, interested in their demise.

Now this story from my review and the legitimate review sounds very interesting, but that's all. The show itself is about as long as the review, which means its short and interesting. Light intellectual comedy inhabits the time between action and lets out a few laughs here and there, but you have to be pretty smart to catch everything. Then the little action here is pretty decent, but nothing special. As for Horo and Lawrence's relationship, there is some light romance, just not too much.

Overall 7.5/10. Why? Because it had too much potential to end so simply like that.
