I think that shinsekai youri has a an ironic subliminal messaging thats more of a good feeling sub-message that speaks to most viewers that taking solitude is the only happiness (certain people only find this rarely as myself included.) is when you feel the most whole as a person. These actions of the characters only show another story but its the underlining of it is what makes this show apart from the other ones. Which makes you yourself think not much of whats going on , due to its similar pacing and and development of characters and the mystery aspect that so happens with titles such as When They Cry. In other words to put simply this show makes you think just like all the others from this genera. Like every now and then when watching these you hit an anomaly of sorts and throws you into(force ably by the way) another state of mind, so to think. But does it in such a gentle way when you do notice your not mad or freaked out but in a bliss like state. Best way i could describe it , but not only that you're always wanted to come back to this moment of clarity but these things come far and few between which is why they're so good and special.
