First of all, the story is slow in taking place. Without saying any spoil, they throw out an incongruous situation out of nowhere, and build a story around it. This is without a doubt a comedy, but can you mindfreely make any jokes when you need to describe meanwhile an impossible fantasy situation from the very beginning? We are not immersed, the effect is absolutely the opposite.
Moreover, there are too many flaws in the story, they are building up a relation ship with the main protagonists the more the time goes by, and this is the only red link that we got, the knowledge that at the end of the episode, their friendship will be strengthened.
The end of the story... is not memorable. It is the logical conjecture of every episodes we followed on. In one word, they are flooding the viewer with the magical ' Power of Friendship ' u_u" .
Okay, overall it is a good anime to waste your spare time, the end is dynamic. The beginning is a little boring. The graphism are very good, the opening is great, and is the reason for which I began Noragami (most of the time, when the op is great, the anime follows :p).
I said a lot of bad things on Noragami, but that's what it is. Here's what I liked otherwise: Going through the first episodes, we are bored less and less, because the incogruosity is more enormous, there are questions, questions that we wished to be answered (and unfortunately, they aren't), and thus we wish to know what's next, and this situation is cool.
So, Noragami is a UFO for the only reason of that, even now and from the very beginning, I don't know what end and what meaning the authors want to give it.
I read another review of Noragami. Contrarily to what he says, Noragami hasn't any philosophical sense at all, this is bullshit. They were talking about suicide due to mysterious creatures, but there's no philosophy in it, nothing.
One final word, watch it if you wish to spend a good time, but don't think it to be the anime of the decade.
