The second season of Code Geass suffers. Unlike the first part - which I recommend you read my review of - this one left me outright bored in some parts, when I wondered whether or not they were just wasted time, or why the enemy didn't just take care of Lelouch - because they had so many opportunities to easily kill him. I was less forgiving to this part than I was to the original, because I felt as if part two could have been done in a shorter amount of time.

So why does it have the same score as the first part then, if it worse?

This review isn't going to be long, because this is all I have to say: Code Geass R2 has some of the most memorable moments of any anime. Unlike the first series, which had about one memorable death in the entire 25 episodes, this one makes you constantly wonder who will be next, and if you can even hope to predict who, when, and how. Even moving past deaths, we see such memorable moments as Lelouch's confrontation with his father and the ending, which is, in my opinion, the best anime ending ever.
