There was nothing more i could ask for from a romance/drama/sliceoflife anime and i thought it was beautiful. I do recommend watching the opening for Clannad after story first of all and this is because the opening was done so well as to set the mood for the show. Regardless of whether or not the episode was going to be a sad or happy one, the opening gives you this feeling of relief and the peaceful yet calm opening sets the mood immediately.
Each episode then takes on the task(and completing it perfectly) of bringing the viewers into the world of Tomoya and his friends. As the story progresses another deep past is revealed drawing the viewers into watching and not disappointing at any part of the season.
The soundtrack is also an all time favourite personally as the climatic moments in the story combined with the perfect sound tracks makes its viewers experience tons of emotions and if you were many episodes in one setting, these emotions wont subside until you stop watching. As for me these emotions carried over even into my sleep as well as my next day which to me proves how powerful the story is.
All in all this makes for the most outstanding series and most of times were filled with tears of sadness and joy. A MUST watch for ANYONE into the sliceoflife/romance/drama genres.
