Trauma from the past play a huge factor in the way we govern our lives in the future. Although there are ways to rehabilitate, more often than not we remain changed as a person and even more often we don't get the proper treatment or outright deny it.

From the producers that brought you Anohana, Kokoro ga Sakebitagatterunda feels like a one-shot that hits you right in the feels the same way it does with Anohana. We as an audience can draw from many of the experiences in our own life in all scales and magnitude to relate to Naruse Jun as she struggles to live read more

Regardless of genre or theme, there has always been certain elements which accentuates a great anime from an average one and when you develop these core elements masterfully, you get a gem that outshines the other animes of its kind. Hibike! Euphonium is that gem and could easily be the best anime of Spring 2015 and maybe even best of 2015.

As it turns out, Hibike! Euphonium does in fact seem a little bland at first glance from the synopsis having being a school life story with an emphasis on music. Its been done- time and time again for example series such as K-ON!, Love Live!, read more

When people want to watch more anime than they have time to do so, quite often their decisions are made moments after reading the synopsis because as many would say, "first impressions are everything".

Well I would like to start by saying that upon reading the synopsis, No Game No Life really did seem like a one dimensional erection stimulant but upon recommendation from a friend, I stumbled upon what must be the most impressive anime of spring 2014.

The story is about two genius shut-in's that end up living in a fantasy world (due to supernatural circumstances), but what they don't tell you is that read more

Judging a series by the length of the episodes can be quite difficult to refuse but looking past that, Shiba Inuko-san is a very entertaining series of VERY SHORT episodes that involve 3 characters. With plenty of funny moments in this series under the major constraint of having only roughly 90 seconds of actual content.

Considering the fact that you are only spending at most 2 regular episode lengths watching this, you are getting the bang for your buck. If you want a few chuckles, Shiba Inuko-san is a good place to start.

Concepts of time and time travel have always been a breeding ground for sci-fi stories and because this is a topic that we have barely come to grasp, it is here where creativity ends up shining the greatest. Now the story is based around a man's seemingly insane personality and his stumble upon a method to change the past and evidently, the future as well. Many things could have gone wrong in the process of writing this story but fortunately for all of us, it was well thought out and executed equally as well.

What you can expect from Steins;Gate is a strongly plot based series read more

The original creation of Shaft's mahou shoujo anime caught my interests when I first heard about it. Having not really been a avid Mahou Shoujo series fanatic, I was still very interested to see what it would be like.

For those of you who plan to watch(if not already) this series can be categorized as an anime that is full of twists and a well developed plot. The flow of the series is very smooth and at a certain point, will have you finding it hard to stop yourself from watching the next episode. Being completely opposite from an episodic series, this anime builds upon each read more

If you enjoy fast paced action packed anime's, then Deadman Wonderland is most certainly one of the top choices for Spring 2011.

The story revolves around a main character called Igarashi Ganta whose sudden encounter with the "Red Man" turns his life from a jolly average middle school life, into a hell hole called Deadman Wonderland where inmates put on a show for paying audiences.

Beyond the dark and frightening atmosphere is a fast developing action/horror anime packed with enough twists to keep you on your toes and desperate for more, as it is impossible to predict the turn of events as i tried to read more

Tragedies happen everywhere and if you have ever been struck by it then you know how it can change you as a person.

AnoHana is a story along the lines of such where a group of friends are forced to face the death Honma Meiko (Menma) and it takes places years after when they are all in high school.

By the end of the first episode, Menma and Yadomi Jintas' past have been explored and we get a slight idea of how the death of Menma changed the once energetic and cheerful Jinta into a shut in wrapped up in his own emotions.

The story so read more

For those who have seen the first season and felt that it had very little to do with the actual story and in fact was just a filler season. This sequel to that disappointing season happens to be much more enjoyable.

Reluctant at first, i decided to give this sequel a shot since i hadnt got what i wanted from the first season. Motto To LOVE-Ru follows chapters from the actual manga and brings to the table what the first season never did, entertainment. Even after the recycled gags and the archetypal characters, it reminds us why harem/comedy animes are quite popular. Funny characters getting read more

With the coming of an Anime with just about no plot, one wonders how good something like Working!! can actually be. To my surprise, what was supposed to be a filler series to pass the time for me ended up being one of the most enjoyable of spring 2010.

There isnt much of a story really. Takanashi justs goes to work at a family restaurant full of weird and unique co-workers and takes it from there for the rest of the series. However even with the lack of a real story, Working!! makes up for easily with their characters. Even with the lack of plot, a read more
