Mixed Feelings
Many anime fans think of this show as the bottom of the bucket, the "worst anime ever", But if you ask me, there are a lot of shows more deserving of this title. But this show is nevertheless mediocre at best.

The show's vicious critics should at least be able to admit that the art of the show is pretty decent, and that the story starts out pretty hopeful and intriguing. But unfortunately most of us are already aware of the ending to come (which I will not spoil), and the thought going through our heads is "How will this innocent show end this way?" And many argue that there was a lack of sensible progression leading to the end, but i slightly disagree. We see Kotonoha and Sekai going slightly off the edge prior to the conclusion enough to make me think that it wasn't a last second decision of an ending.

The characters are absolutely dreadful, with a main character who instantly changes from someone vaguely relate-able into this horrible pig. The girls were painful to watch as well, not contrasting from each other at all! There is literally NO reason why they all want Makato. There is nothing that makes Makato desirable at all that makes sense to the audience...

Though many will tell you that this show is "psychological", I can't agree. Simply having a violent ending doesn't make something "psychological".

Though it is very flawed, I did enjoy this show to a degree. Though I must also add that the beach episode is, like always, skippable. ;) Don't make things hard for yourself.
