Story- I mean you could just read the synopsis but to sum it up real quick its about a young kid named Tanaka Yukio who doesnt seem to have a purpose in life but after meeting another kid named Minami Ryuusuke he then starts to experience all the other greater things in life; romance, friendship, and just having a good time.
Art- Hmm for the most part its good to look at, it definitely has a distinct artstyle meaning if someone read a previous work of Sakuishi, Harold(writer of Beck) you could easily tell its one of his works.
Sound- I know some people say the manga is better and explains more into detail and thats fine if you would rather the manga but its a series about music so i actually want to hear the stuff they are playing which is pretty i might add. Also comes with one of the best OP's I have ever heard.
Character- Probably the reason why I loved the show so much. Each character has there own purpose for doing what they do and none of it seems cliche at all. And people that say female characters are incomparable to male characters, I introduce you to Minami Maho.
Enjoyment- Kept me entertained the whole time, its not the most exciting plot revolving mainly around a bunch of friends(kind of?) playing in a band and want to make it big but it has the perfect balance of comedy, drama, and romance and it was just fun to watch.
Overall- Its a great anime and while this anime does include mainly high school characters(I know some people hate that) dont let that discourage you from watching this show and give it a shot.
