Before i start, let me inform you that i have not seen the Fate/Stay night series, so i will be speaking the words of a newcomer who was captured by the animation mostly.

That was an AMAZING time i've spent watching this anime ever!!!
I don't want to be tiring so i will speak my impressions really quick and as clear as i possibly can.

Story: An intense chess-style battle among 6 players, all with different ways of thinking, different motives and ideals, but also with thoughtful plans and moves based on different tactics. Everything could become very confusing, but they didn't. Everything was understandable and awesome!

Art & Sound: There isn't anything for me to say as i am, literally, out of words. I will only say this: Sometimes i had to *replay scenes* in order to check if what i saw was real. I just can't believe the work they've put on this show...
Same fact applies for sound quality. Thankfully, i had the chance to enjoy the music and sound effects with home cinema equipment, and it was what the internet says: an eargasm.

Characters: I was already excited by the idea of summoning historical figures who were bound to have their own special and unique character followed by an extreme amount of badassity. It was even more fulfilling to see that their Masters were no wussies or some neutral pokerfaces who only knew how to summon and control a Servant. Even MORE significant was the fact that those Heroic Spirits weren't summoned just to fight each other...... ok that was the idea, but what they also did? They shared ideals with their Masters. Stories from their eras. Philosophies. Some helped each other learn about themselves. A true accomplishment. Indeed.

Enjoyment: Hahaha! Oh right! Have i told you that every Heroic Spirit has a trump card? Yea, it's called Noble Phantasm. It's basically an Ultimate Attack, in a video game's way of explanation. So. When the first one was introduced, i was like "Oooh! Nice...", then the second "Wow! Sweet!", and at the last one... "HORY SHEEEEET! EPICNESS OVERLOAD! Somebody call a doctor, i'm having a heart attack!!!". My body was overflowing satisfaction. No exaggerations!

Overall: Nough said...

PS. I guess my only complaint would be the lack of more and longer battles, but that is to be overlooked as it is expected from the 2nd season. :3
Besides, the dialogues are not boring *at all*. They make up for a good preperation of the grounds for the battle royale!!!
