I know that many people would find Guilty Crown "boring" or even "terrible" because of the storyline it has. But for me, I would say this anime is definitely worth watching compared to some other anime which I have watched.
Guilty Crown basically talks about a boy named Shu and how he has the power to materialise people's hearts with his 'void' powers which he obtained in episode 2.
Though, during my first time watching it, the storyline was pretty confusing to me as I could not really understand what was actually going on. But if you watch on to the later episodes, you'll realise that overall the story is touching and attractive to the eyes.
I would say the main character who is Shu is irritating to look at because of his stupidity and ugliness. However, I do feel pitiful for him since he did have a bad end as well as for Inori who is apparently in love with him towards the end.
The story revolves mostly around the main character and the story advances to tell us exactly how or when did they discovered the virus that would apparently cause people to die.
For me, this anime has many climax as there are many fighting scenes in this one and how your comrade would eventually turn out to be your enemy.
