The character's background stories were good, but the delivery lacked depth. I couldn't connect with any of the characters. The supporting especially: what were their motives? What drives them? And it felt like the main's lacked these aspects as well--at least, not enough to move me.
The 2 male characters obsession with their fetishes should've received less attention. The time spent on those things would've been better spent in character development, etc.
The main premise of the story was very good. I loved all the implications of the 2 main characters backgrounds~ however, as I said, it wasn't ended well, and I think the supporting lacked 'important' roles. It could've been written better.
The art was wonderful though! I loved the action and special effects in the OP! It's the redeeming aspect of the series~
I also loved the OP and ED theme songs. The ED video is especially nice.
I think I'll read the light novel (when I can understand Japanese XD), it might be shed more light on this anime.
