Summer wars feels fun and enjoyable when showing off its fast passed fight scenes and outstanding animation, But the story and characters brought down the experience overall. The story centers around way to many people for there to be actual character development. Scenes that were made to be emotional felt meaningless because the characters didn't have enough screen time for me to relate to anyone. But that doesn't mean its a complete waste of time, as lackluster its characters are, it does have an interesting take on technology in our lives. And I can not stress how fantastic the animation looked during the fight scenes. I say give it a try and give your own opinion on it. Hopefully others like it more then I did
