The story is just amazing. it maybe not epic but it captures my heart. i sometimes felt sad for Koyuki when he just being played and bullied by others. while i'm not a big fan of relationships in anime, i was drawn by the relationship between Maho and Koyuki. And the band's journey to glory was just captivating..it really is outstanding.
the art is ok at best...but the way their animate the characters when they perform was quite good, not just some bullshit stiff animation..
If you're a rock fan you should really give this anime a try, because the soundtrack is great..well, that is if you don't mind the japanese accent in their english songs..but you'll be surprised when you ended up singing the songs on regular daily basis, because that's what happens to me.
the character development was great as well..my favourite character had to be Taira..and i guess that's kinda typical because he's such a cool guy and he's just an awesome bassist..
so, overall i really enjoy this masterpiece..10/10..
