i really highly recommend this anime for beginners who are really interested into sticking with the genre. its the first dark anime ive ever seen. its really emotionally overwhelming and the music and visuals are great. lucy is by far one of my all time favorite characters and i can remember how much i cried watchitn it. i dont wanna spoil the shocking ending but if youre looking for way more i really recommend reading the manga because it goes out a lot farther and theres somethings the anime didnt add. the manga has some flaws and so does the anime tbh too.
like the dubbed is one of the best dubs ive ever heard in anime, i usually almost never go for dubbed for my own personal opinion but lucy's voice actress steals the show and her character is so haunting. the characters myu and nana, although i love them too death there voices really young sounding, although you really get used to it. the only character i really dislike is yuka.

its a personal favorite, i cant really pick a favorite anime thats impossible but i always suggest for people who are willing to go hard to try it out and i really can see why its not for everyone!!!
