So in preparation for the second season of this anime during Winter 2014, I watched this...

Let me get straight to it. First, it looks really beautiful as excepted from Kyoto Animation, the art style is in my opinion a reason alone to get hooked into watching it. If you go into anime with the rigid and sole expectations of moderate action, you should just find something else. Though the fighting scenes are pretty spectacular their relation to the particular plot just offsets their intensity, nevertheless they're a nice treat to see from time to time in the series. With the characters, the main male role was nothing too unique, but his personality definitely complemented the main female role. All the characters are still great though, and are hilarious at times, but at the same time intrigue you, and most of them all actually developed a fair amount. The story doesn't really progress until half way, but that's not bad at all. It really lays the foundation of the characters and the setting and manages to keep your entertained. The romance doesn't get too far, but that helps it keep its comedic and light hearted vibe.

Overall if you like slice of life, comedy, and just want to feel good, definitely give this anime a try. It's not something for people who are hardcore with story development, but its something I really enjoyed watching with all the laughs I had and all the times I felt happy and sad, though happy most of time.
