As a reviewer who has not played the game or listened to the drama CD's, I feel that my review for the anime is less judgemental, and based more on the entertainment value that the TV series provides.
I started watching this anime with a moderate amount of knowledge based on reviews I'd read for the video game. The first episode immediately captured my attention due to the show's animation, which I found to be stunning. The color's were spot on as I found them suitable given the show's atmosphere.
Next were the characters, and boy were they great eye candy,(cept for Kanato and Reiji... -____-) especially since the art is so pretty.
Compared to Amnesia's heroine, I thought DL's heroine was quite the doormat and dumb as well, but she had plenty of moments where she actually did try to resist the guys, despite them winning in the end. So watching her was a lot more entertaining compared to Amnesia's emotionless and doll-like heroine.
To be honest, I would love to see a second season featuring the Mukami? brothers or something like that. I would definitely watch it.
