Story: 8
The story was unique, but it did remind me of Bleach and Yu Yu Hakusho. Every time I hear about Spirit Work Warriors, I think of Soul Reapers or Spirit Detectives. And the Youmu reminded me of Hollows in the Bleach series. It was packed with action and awesome looking fight scenes. There was also a feel good romance bit added in.

Kyoto Animation has outdone themselves this time. They don't always do many action packed series, but this one has scenes that were very captivating to the eye. The characters were good looking. Mirai Kuriyama sure is a cutie.
Sound: 8
The OST was quite well done, but that wasn't what I enjoyed the most. I loved the opening an ending. They are both very catchy and I caught myself singing the songs constantly as I do my daily routine. There are also good voice actors in the series. KENN, who voiced Chase Suno and Judai Yuuki, did a good job voicing Akihito Kanbara.
Character: 9
Many of the characters are lovable and enjoyable. Mirai's ditzy, but heroic personality made her an interesting and well done heroine. Akihito's glasses fetish and Hiromi's sister complex added to the comedy of the series. Their constant jokes about little sisters and girls with glasses always made for a good laugh.

I probably said it already earlier in this review, but I loved this series. It had beautiful backgrounds, interesting characters, and a plot that kept me on the edge of my seat. I'd love to see an OVA, movie, or even a second season of this if possible. It left me wanting so much more.

All in all, the series was amazing. For a KyoAni series, this is my second favorite. Chuunibyou being my first, though. I recommend to give this series a try. If you like action, comedy, supernatural, and romance, this series is for you. I'm sure you'll love it just as much as I did. I'd even give this series a rewatch. Kyoukai no Kanata is great. End of story. xD
