Story: 9
The only reason I would give Durarara!!a nine instead of a ten is because the first few episodes can be confusing, as they thrust you directly into the action and lives of its many characters. However, after the initial one or two episodes, the story gets into full swing. Is one of amazing complexity, mainly because the story ins't centered around one person, but the lives of many. With it's insane amount of plot twists and cliff hangers that will make the twenty-five episodes seem like only a few.
Art: 7.5
The art of Durarara!! is very stylized and symbolizes the vibe of the show well. While the artwork certainly personifies the show well, it is nothing too special. Just a tad bit above average.
Sound: 9
The tunes are absolutely fantastic, and some of my favorite in any anime. From the opening theme to the ending song, the music almost always sets a scene perfectly, and i often found myself humming one or two of them after watching the show. Though, around three of the tracks in the show sound offbeat, and do not seem like they fit into the show very well.
Characters: 10
This is where Durarara!! shines. Since there is no "main protagonist" the story covers around twelve characters who are all extremely memorable. Each one is defined by his or her own struggles, actions, and pasts.(which is covered for each main character) By the end of it all, I was rooting for almost every character, even the villain.

Durarara!! is an amazing anime for everyone and should be watched if you even like anime a little.
