Time to review the best anime of 2013.
Suisei no Gargantia was one the most highly anticipated anime of the spring 2013 season. It did start out well, but then it started to become too volatile and flexible and therefore, it also leaned closer to the boring side. One of the best aspects of this anime was the plot twist at the end which changed my views of the entire anime, but sadly this anime lacked consistency and failed at keeping the viewers on the brink of enjoyment. Boring it can be at times, this show does do some things well and some rather not.

Story 10: Story: The story of Suisei no Gargantia, is of a space giant robot themed anime, it begins in the distant future in the far reaches of the galaxy. The Human Galactic Alliance has been constantly fighting for its survival against a grotesque race of beings known as the "Hidiaazu." In an intense battle, the young lieutenant Ledo and his humanoid mobile weapon Chamber are swallowed up into a distortion of time and space. Ledo realizes after a certain period of hibernation that he has arrived on Earth, the planet on the lost frontier. On this planet that was completely flooded by the seas, people live in fleets of giant ships, salvaging relics from the seas' depths in order to survive. Ledo arrives on the fleet 'Gargantia'. With no knowledge of the planet's history or culture, he is forced to live alongside Amy, a 15-year-old girl who serves as a messenger. To Ledo, surviving, adapting and coping with the Japanese language and in Gargantia will be a struggle, until things get bad.

Art 8: Nice art in battle scenes, but ok.
Sound 7: None of the sound tracks were really memorable, the opening was good tho!

Character 7: Has some.

Enjoyment 7: Like i said 10 times before, its good at the start then falls off, but catches a bit back with its plot twist.

Overall 8: PLOT TWIST, i lied, this isnt the best anime of 2013.
