Fairy Tail...where do I even begin to describe this anime? It can be incredibly serious and hysterical within a fraction of a second. It is my all time favorite show for a reason, and that my friends...is because of the character development and mood changers.

The plot has one overall goal, and that is to entertain us with mindless fun. The show has many different arcs that take you up and down a roller coaster, whether it is a filler arc or one that fits with the actual story, you will find yourself laughing your ass off. The characters face near death almost every arc, and while the script writers are at it, they somehow make it to when you wait for the next funny comic relief moment. However, some of the comedy does actually get in the way of rather important moments.

The art is actually nothing special, I have seen much better and much worse. Although it doesn't get in the way of your enjoyment.

The soundtracks are some of the best I have ever heard. I have almost all of Fairy Tail's music on my iPod. The main song is so upbeat you can't help but feel an intense happiness, even when you are feeling down. Fairy Tail has its own sound, one that is separate from any other anime, very unique. The sound and plot mix absolutely perfectly with the characters situations, serious or funny. They also have such a wide variety, you may find yourself deciding which song is better.

The characters are what makes the entire show. I watched Fairy Tail purely for the characters. The plot is not what grabbed me at first, to be honest, the plot in the beginning is quite boring. I even dropped Fairy Tail for a while because the show just bored me, they didn't get into the first arc very quickly. I wanted to see more of the characters skills in the beginning, and that's not what I got. However, after about the 12th episode, I was addicted. This show dove into various different arcs that leave you with tears and a wide smile on your face. Natsu, Gray, Lucy, Wendy, Erza, and Juvia just make this whole show. The whole guild never gives up and fights for what they believe in, their friends. The back stories the characters are given really shape who they are and why they fight, even how they wear their clothes! The only character I had a real problem with in the beginning was Lucy, but as time went by, she turned out way less annoying. The characters improved episode by episode and it is definitely worth waiting for.

Fairy Tail has ended, for now. It is coming back in 2014, with about three months of filler arcs. So, ladies and gentlemen, don't think the legend is over, it's just beginning. "You don't die for your friends, you live for them!"
