This is one of those series that most people will rave about. Across the board, you will find that most people will recommend this series. I am going to not be one of those people, per se. Cowboy Bebop is worth watching, but there are things about it that some might not find so fun. The characters for the most part are good, I have some issues with Spike and Faye personally, but overall they're likable. The music is wonderful, alone warranting a look into the soundtrack. I think what turns me off, a little, is the lack of a continuous plot, which does work for this and some other series, but not others. It DOES work for Cowboy Bebop, but it throws a lot of what to expect up in the air, which can be exciting but can also leave very little to expect. And I will say this, depressing could be an accurate summation of the series overall. I won't say that a series or something shouldn't make you sad or should always have a happy ending, but to me that just rounds out a good story so well. I don't like being built up to be let down at the end, and Cowboy Bebop did that to me a bit.

So, in the end, if you haven't already seen it, check it out if you feel like it, I'm not gonna say to watch it one way or the other.
