It makes the main character seem weak and useless, but in actuality he doesn't understand his unique power himself. He uses this mysterious power to help save his friends, nevertheless getting hospitalized in the process almost every time. Even then he's not afraid to do it again.
Kamijou Touma's bravery has ended up making him one of the most popular Harem Kings in anime. With an astonishing number of about slightly fewer than 10,000 members. He does not realize it but, he just considers himself unlucky due to the skirmishes he ends up in with most of them.
Touma's heroism also gave him a unique title. He is a problem with one of the most dangerous people in Academy City. Being a foreseeable threat in the future he is constantly bombarded with dangerous enemies everywhere he goes.
In the end, this anime has become one of my favorites and highly suggested. If you watch it enjoy it as much as I did. It's truly one of the best.
