I have never played the game, but if the game is as interesting as the anime I will find a way to get a copy, but enough of that lets get down to the anime.

You start out with this simple thought that its going to be a high school slice of life anime with a young character name Naegi who gets accepted to the most acclaimed high school in all of Japan. Then you get ripped out of that idea and thrown into a world where 15 top students in there fields, locked up in the school they had tried to get in. They soon find out that they have no memory of what happened except the day they came to the school. Held captive by a mysterious figure who tells them "inorder to survive you have to kill your classmates and get away with it."

If I had to compare this to anything its like Phoenix Wright meets Battle Royal. It also has this feel of a great crime investigation anime. In every episode it had me guessing on what the hell just happened, who killed who, and how are they going to find a way out of this.

The characters are great as a group, but on there own they are weak, but thank god they are stuck together. I would complain more on how they call them Super Dooper so and so, yet it fits in within the show. The whole factor of you can't trust anyone has you at the edge of your seat. The music within the show makes it pulse bounding when the situation gets heated, but the opening theme is kind of weird like it tried to be like James Bond in the worst way and the ending theme is kind of okay the first time, but it is really catchy after the fifth time you hear it.

The story could have gone on to full 26 episodes, yet it feels right that its short and sweet. Hardly no filler and gets straight to the point. I love this anime and glad to say that its a Masterpiece.
