Michiko to Hatchin took me by surprise. A lot of stuff in the series is enjoyable, such as the characters, the art, the comedy, and that soundtrack that keeps the show going at a steady pace. Of course, there were some minor disappointments, like where it leaves you off, but I wouldn't let that small detail get in the way. Our two main heroes, Hana (Hatchin) and Michiko, were very enjoyable, and my personal favorite part about the series was the unusual, yet entertaining bond these two characters had, despite their age difference. A lot of side-characters were fun. However; they were easily forgotten after a while, but that doesn't mean that character development was poor, in fact, I'd say it's some of the best I've seen in a long time. Now, to wrap this up, the show was great, and this one unlike other action-dramas, keeps a whole lot of the action subtle. As for the mood, sounds, setting, animation and artwork, it really makes this show quite an adventure. I'd give it another go.

If you like crazy humorous adventures with a good amount of action, this show would be for you.
