What can I say about High School DXD. It is a great anime with a lot of fan service. If you love lewd thoughts, high sexual fantasy and perversion, then this is a series for you. If you don't then don't bother watching this anime, go find something that you enjoy.
Let us begin with the story, it is about Issei Hyoudou, your average high school student who could be classed as weak main character but becomes powerful with the sacred gear he was given. He calls himself the 'Harem King' and has a dream of having his own harem, but anyone would if they were studying at an all girls school, as this is every guys dream. But this all changes when he meets a girl and they start dating. But if you want to read a synopsis of this anime read the summary.
But anyway it is good to see when they created this series they thought about how many people who watch it would be able to compare themselves to the main character.
The art of the anime is excellent, when you watch this anime you can see that the all the animators took their time creating a lot of images that would stick in your mind so that you would not forget them easily.
The sounds are good, as everything sounds so realistic that if you were to close your eyes you would be able to create a mental picture of all the sounds in this anime.
The characters are created very well, as when you watch this anime you are able to get a lot of depth of each of the characters that the main character meets. For all those who have watched the series they know what I mean when I mention Milton. If you have not watched this anime series then you guys have something to look forward to.
You might think 'Will I enjoy watching this series'. The answer is yes, you will. Like I said at the beginning of the review that it has a lot of fan service, a lot of ecchi and a lot of perversion. And If you are like me and enjoy that kind of thing then you will definitely enjoy this series. It has a lot of comedy from a perverted mind, so you will also have a smile on your face when you watch this series.
Another good thing is that after watching High School DXD you can be glad to know that there is a second season and that it as good as the first. But I am not going to go into that anime as this isn't a review that series.
Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed this series, so much so that I am watching it for the third time. So I can guarantee that you would watch this series at least twice.
So to summarize it is a great anime with lots of perversion and ecchi. The main character becomes a bad ass and the girls are cute.
