If you haven't watched The World God Only Knows Season 1, 2, and Tenri OVA. Then you need to watch them to understand Season 3's story.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Story - 9

Prepare your feels, because this is what this season is about.

There are 3 worlds according to this story: Heaven, Hell, and Us.
Vintage is the antagonist in the story, Vintage is planning to revive old hell and to eliminate the Heaven. The Gods are planning to stop Vintage, however, the Goddesses have no power (Love) to stop them. So, the Goddesses enter Keima's past girls that he has conquered. Keima gets his warning from Diana, Diana tells him that she needs her help to stop vintage. The Goddesses are trapped in Girls that Keima has conquered before. So now, he needs to re-conquer the past girls in order to bring out the Goddesses to stop Vintage.

THIS IS A GOOD STORY.

It brings refreshing material to The World God Only Knows, If you have ever wanted Keima to spend more time with a specific heroine, then it happens in this season.

Characters - 9 ( Spoilers as well )

Yes, I did dislike how they didn't spend that much time on conquerings with Yui and Shiori, however, it does spend more time on Keima, Chihiro, and Ayumi. All three of them are the main people in this story, or atleast I feel like they are. However, what I really like is that they spent more time on the heroines from Season 1 and 2, this adds more feelings towards that heroine. Also, what I really fucking enjoyed the most is that KEIMA DEVELOPED. HOAAH This is a big step, who knew God's cry. He knows what he did wrong, he showed emotion, he CARED FOR SOMEONE!

Enjoyment - 7.5 ( Spoilers )

The only flaw I didn't like was that it felt rushed. This season really did feel rushed to me which is a very big flaw. Most of the girl's conquests felt really rushed to me ( Shiori, Yui ). This story felt mostly focused on Chihiro instead of the Goddesses. Another reason why I felt like they rushed this ending is the actual ending. When all of the Goddesses are free and are having a battle with Vintage, I was disliking how they didn't focus on the battle, The battle and Chihiro having a conversation with Keima were going on at the same time. I disliked that part. They could have made a OVA to tie up the ending, by doing that, the battle would have been much more epic and more feels would be brought towards Chihiro and Keima. Well, that's just my opinion. But overall, too many things were going on at once. Haqua battle with vintage, Keima conquering several girls at one time, Saving Kanon, etc. This anime was very serious, there were rarely any comedy moments imo. It was focusing alot on: Past heroines, Keima, Vintage, Goddesses.

Overall - 8

Pros. - New story, more screen-time for old heroines, Character development, etc.

Cons. - Rushed, Seriousness.

If they were going for a much more serious route, then they shouldn't have rushed the season. I still enjoyed it though, I love The World God Only Knows. Still don't know why they chose that title, doesnt relate to the anime that much.

Random Ideas
-----------------------------------

Season 1 and 2 were probably fillers for season 3. Season 1 and 2 could have been a boost for season 3, so when you're attached to the characters ( Season 1 and Season 2 ), that's when they strike you with feelings ( Season 3 ).
