This Anime is one of the most depressing things I've seen in a while, and I did not like it a lot. It's not poorly made or anything, on the contrary it has good animation, well-written story and a pretty good performance from the voice actors and actresses.
However, the MC is the most unbearable asshole of a leading character I've ever seen, and while that was probably the intention of the writers I can't help but feel bad for all the people he hurt.
Not only is he a complete dimwit, he's an arrogant asshole and a cheater on top of it. Well, I guess the last scene with him where he actually speaks is a pretty good one, but that's not because of anything Makoto himself does, but rather becauyse of someone else-- you'll know what I'm talking about when you see it/if you have seen it. There are, as there should be, some nice characters, and a few mean ones. There's nothing that special about the supporting roles and a lot of them are pretty stereotypical I think.
This Anime isn't my thing, as much as I like yandere this is just sad, and the first thing I thought after finishing it was that I wanna get it out of my head and forget about it. Still, I can't give it an overall score lower than a 6, it deserves as much, as I stated earlier it's not without quality, it's just really depressing. It does tell a good lesson though, it shows what consequences cheating has and how strongly it affects people.
This Anime wasn't unenjoyable, but I can't say it left me with a good feeling in the end, and I would have wanted more justice done to the people Makoto hurt. And also torture for Makoto.
