This show is timeless. Despite the primitive animation (in comparison to 20 years of animation improvement) this show still packs a huge punch (literally). Amazing battles! The show also keeps good tabs on "power levels" (which many battle anime ignore and instead just blow shit up every battle). In addition to the great battles, the characters are amazing. The main character always has funny smart-ass remarks and is a lovable (anti)hero. He is very badass. This show has great and smart dialogue and enough sarcastic jokes to entertain one's self. The creator does a great job of keeping the story going for it all connects as the battles get more intense (in other words, great transitions between arcs).
This show is much more than just a battle anime, it has a very wholesome story. It is a very authentic creation and it kicks ass at what it does. It really sucks you in to its universe. All I may say is to savor these 112 episodes for you'll miss it right away.
P.S this is probably where Beelzebub got its frame of main character being a delinquent and all the demons lol
