Anime's story is very interesting and in my opinion it makes you curious about the next episode everytime you finish watching an episode, other than first a few episodes. I think Shiki's story is really good which as almost every anime story has it has a few minor flaws and just for its story, Shiki deserves being watched. Another point I like about Shiki is its characters, they're all have different points that makes you connect to the anime more. Also the art used in the project, in my opinion, completely fits the atmosphere of the anime. I can't say I really liked the first OP and the first ED of the anime but the second ones and the OST were very good.
But as everything has a few flaws Shiki has its owns too. I can say it totally makes you empathize with vampires, which I think is a really interesting thing, but also makes it a bit illogical. Well as introduced in anime in fact vampires might not be bad creatures that go and suck people's blood because they want to, but it stilll doesn't change the fact they need to suck human blood and because of that they kill people. That is one point I think as a flaw Shiki has.
Overally, Shiki is an outstanding anime which I think everyone should give a try.
