My overall score is a 9. Here's why...
Story: 9
This show isn't for the faint of heart but tells an interesting story if you can get past the blood and nudity. It has been very thought out and I couldn't find too many moments that made me think "WTF" or "that doesn't make sense". I give it a 9 because the story doesn't completely answer all your (or maybe it's only me) questions at the end. (Yea, yea, I know what you're saying "READ THE MANGA DUDE" but I don't have the time or money for that)
Art: 8
I like the way it shows the portraits in the opening. Other than that it's just your regular art style site
Sound: 7
The same sounds were used frequently throughout the show. It also sounded unrealistic sometimes
Characters: 10
The characters were possibly my favorite part in this show. Each character was unique and tied in to the story nearly. Each had most to all character's backgrounds told and there weren't to many random characters tossed in just to advance the story.
Enjoyment: 10
The story always kept you guessing, always keeping you tensed about what's going to happen next episode. Fantastic characters and well thought out stories go a long way. But fortunately, the show delivers much more than that. I love how it shows man at its worst and what true enlightenment and kindness mean.
