I thought I wouldn't enjoy this series, but watching it proved me very wrong. At first look, its not that very appealing for me, so I was thinking twice on watching it since I thought it was going to be your average romcom harem ecchi fanservice series. But what do you know, you can never judge a book by its cover.
Story : 7
Not very original if you ask me. In a separate world, there was a demon king who conquered every village on it, and of course! If there's a demon king, there's a hero. The hero and her allies then defeats three of the four generals who assists the demon king himself, and reclaims the villages. And then she gets to the demon king's castle to finally defeat the demon king, which she successfully did. The demon king one of his general were forced to retreat, used some kind of a portal which leads them to earth. There they lost most of their power, unable to retain their demon forms and unable to go back to their world because of they're wounds and not having enough magic power, they were forced to stay on earth.
Art : 9
The art is reaaaaaaaaaally good. We rarely see ugly art in this modern day and age, so almost everything now is pretty well made. Backgrounds were perfectly drawn. Detailed background characters. Its really good. Period.
Characters : 8
Characters on hataraku maou-sama. They're good, easily recognizable, names that doesn't have much of a problem to remember, cute, and very detailed. So you'll remember them very easily. They're personalities match well with their looks, and perfectly works with their co-characters.
Music : 8
Music is good. Cute ending, I didint quite like the opening though, but the ending is quite good. You should listen to it when you start watching it.
Enjoyment : 9
I really enjoyed it. Since I gave it a 9, its kind of refreshing to watch this kind series. No deep or complicated plots. It just gives you the "this carefree feel" when you watch it.

Its a good series, pretty decent, not that ecchi. Its really worth watching, it has the potential of having a great action packed series if the makers pursue that path, but the rom com feel to it is not that bad either, its not entirely harem though, since unlike other series, this one doesn't have that much of girls frolicking over the protag, in fact others really resent him. Plus the light jokes are really good, they'll put a little laugh on your tummy. And they're really easy to catch, you don't need to understand japanese to get the jokes, unlike other series, which relies on puns on making jokes. This series is a good watch, not really a must-watch series though. But it probably won't waste your time, so that covers my review on this one! Have fun watching hataraku maou-sama!
