Let me tell you I saw lots of anime in my time but "Berserk" stands among the most lowest. The story was just plain horrible, same boring generic war story that I saw practically 1000 times before.
Characters:
Guts is super lame, he has no development then being a over emotional teenage girl trapped in a buffed mans body. Somehow he can swing a sword bigger then is own body which seriously impossible regardless of how strong you are, totally ruining any realism this shows once contained to to add insult to injury they even included the most retarded looking demons Ive ever seen!! All of the demons were extremely hilarious and I'd probably be laughing my head off at them back when I was eight years old.
Additionally, all the villains are depicted as fat, short, ugly men who have a sign glued to their head that says "HATE ME". Griffith turning all evil at the end was completely random and very childish, just because his boyfriend Guts left the Band of Hawk he went all emo and decided that he want to RULE THE WORLD WITH HIS SILLY DEMON POWERS!!! Also Caska was just plain ass boring, basically just another character thrown into the "Rape Bait pit" which every other character in this series was thrown into.
Music:
Only one good song the entire show, all the rest are pretty much forgettable. Overall, the soundtrack could have been much better IMO.
Art:
The art to be honest looked like garbage, seriously just look at toy story! It's graphics were light years ahead of this crap.
Overall:
The show was piss poor, Don't watch this shitty rape fantasy! Remember just because a shows shows a girls nipple, it doesn't make it deep and mature.
