This is THE most upbeat show I have ever seen in my entire life. It drives to make "the impossible POSSIBLE!" as quoted by one of the main characters. Though the story was incredibly simple, and the art was very reminiscent of Furi Curi, the show itself NEVER failed to engage me in a gripping experience. It deliverers a wonderful blend of humor, drama, and action all in one. I don't really know how else to describe it, except that it never fails to give me this warm feeling inside as though nothing is out of reach if you strive for it and "believe in you who believes in yourself." In conclusion, Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann is something that no one should be without. Everyone deserves a little confidence booster every now and then, and this show accomplishes just that.
