Rimi Sakihita was originally a badass woman but then she turned into a damsel in distress just like Asuna from Sword Art Online. Takumi had to rescue her. Takumi gained energy from the girls and he destroyed the final villian. The rest of the girls even though they were strong, they still could not overcome their problems and become whiny people.
This anime is so cliche and boring because the rest of the episode focus on their pasts without any development whatsoever. Then again, I really hate anime that features damsel in distress because this cliche is so overused.
Overall, it was a big disappointment. 3/10
