I didnt quite know what to expect with Ouran Host Club, the first few episodes were extremely light hearted and comical, the stereotypical characters didnt hold my interested too much at the beginning but as the characters began to develop it seemed the anime bloomed.

The typical high school boys suddenly realise there is something better than just being a host club and this was what drew me in. The character development was amazing, seeing characters such as Honey switch from innocent to bad ass was just completely amazing.

I recommend this anime to anybody looking for a break from deep, emotional animes. Ouran is the type of anime that just brings your spirits up and has you laughing along with the bad jokes.

If anything, i believe giving Ouran a chance it well worth it, after watching this anime i found myself obsessed with the characters and almost wishing there were more to watch.

If this anime had seperate spin off stories i would be first in line to see them.
