Baccano was one of those animes that you have to watch to the end and once through again to finally understand it. The first time i watched through it I was confused and didn't know where the plot was going. The only thing that kept me from dropping the anime was (believe it or not) the music, especially the theme song. It was just so catchy and every time i finished it I would just play it again just to listen to it.

After I finished it, I gave it a few weeks and when I had spare time, I watched it again and it blew my mind every time afterwards. The characters were super enjoyable, fun and quirky and how the multiple story lines just blend with each other perfectly was what made this one of my all time favorites.

The timing of when to introduce new elements was impeccable, it was really enjoyable.

Best part (paraphrased):

A: Let's steal a museum, it will be full of riches!
B: Yeah, let's do just that

(5 hours later of trying to remove the museum)

A: It's too hard
B: I know! Let's take the door away!
A: Why?
B: So then no one can get in!!
A: Great Idea!

Takes door down and run's away leaving a gigantic hole in the doorway
