The situation of some of the people within the series are ones that we can relate to, such as the main characters issue of having to move away a lot due to family/work issues and being bullied. However, there are other less socially-acceptable topics ranging from incest to suicidal attempts/thoughts. The power of "love", from what I feel that the anime is telling me, is what keeps two individuals on the path of suicide from comitting the act. The fact that music is also one of the ways they express their emotions/love is really interesting, since the main violin melody is very packed with emotions. Overall this anime is worth your time since it's definitely not going to bore you, and there are enough conflicts to keep you entertained and also things that are relatable to the average person out there.
