The main character, Staz looks like Rin.
While Rin is a demon, Staz is also a demon
(an otaku vampire sort. lol. but he doesn't suck blood).
Staz also has his powers sealed away, and later released~

It's hard to overlook both of these titles when reading either one respectively. Blood Lad and Ao no Exorcist (Blue Exorcist) has several similarities.
Both series features a world of supernatural beings that consists of demons, exorcists, and otherworldy entities.
Both series' main protagonists have similar personalities as well as similar physical appearances.
Both series has strange plots that are generic but entertaining to read that mixes in action, drama, comedy, and at times, some emotional moments.
In both manga you deal with the world full of demons.
The demon protagonist is on earth surrounded by humans who are unaware of his demonic powers.
The drawings are similar, too.
Both mangas are filled with action and humor.
