The story of both series has a lot of mysterious circumstances revolving the events that pertains to supernatural themes. Both series' main characters gets caught into these events and must cope with startling revelations that they discover. There's also past background stories that unfold with strong influences in the present. Murder is also not uncommon in both series so be prepared for some grim details.
