Shichisei no Subaru is basically a rehash of AnoHana mixed with MMORPG.
+6 friends, 3 girls, 3 Boys
+Plot also centres on one person
+same personalities
+same love interests and love polygons
+all are friends that hang out when they were kids till something happened
AnoHana is slice of life/drama though while Shichisei no Subaru is action/sci-fi but tells almost the same story added with online elements and conspiracy .

These two are pretty much the same anime the charachers are the same, the plots are the same, the love triangle is the same, the only different between the two is Seven Senses of the Re'Union takes place in a video game well Anohano takes place in the real world. Seven Senses of the Re'Union is basically a mix between SAO and Anohano.
Group of six friends are separated by the death of one of them, a cute girl. The girl returns years later with no memory of dying and the friends have to come back together and work out their conflicts with one another that were caused by her death.
Shichisei no Subaru takes place in a video game setting, but is otherwise a direct copy of AnoHana’s story and some of its character archetypes. The protagonist dude with almost no personality has to take care of the girl, he is in a love triangle with his childhood friend and the aforementioned cute girl.

If I could recommend two animes at once, I definitely would. The first 5 episodes of this series proved my prediction of this series being a rip-off combination of both AnoHana and Sword Art Online to be absolutely correct; it takes no genius to figure that out. All 6 members of Subaru represent a member each in Jintan's group of childhood friends in Anohana with little to no difference.
There is a big similarity between these 2 Series. Both Series have a Group of six friends who lost one of their female friends of their group. After some years they see the technically dead girl again and decide to reunite the old group of the friends which has been split up during the years after her death. To reunite the group a lot of talk is necessary, because the opinions of the former group members differ widely.
While Ano Hana (Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae wo Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai) takes place in the "real" world and includes a ghost-like appearance of the girl,

Both will make you cry especially first episode and last episode
This is an anime which is a combination of Anohana and SAO but did bad.
It has the element that if you die in the game, you die in real life like in SAO.
It also has different love triangles and one of them died like in Anohana.

I've always said that Shichisei was a worse version of Ano Hana, but it's not all bad. The main female character who died comes with her spirit to gather her friends.
