They both deals with devils and the main characters are very similar. Also, the fire powers are really important to the plot. Not to mention that both have ranking systems and rivals with power levels.

These two have very similar vibes and revolve around a supernatural religious theme. The MC are both very energetic individuals who lost their original guardians and thus attempt to further their understanding of their identities.

Both are Shounen. Both have protagonists that have been hated on because of being/having a 'demon' inside them. Both are trying to overcome that hatred. Both have something to do with flames.

- anyway, the main character is strong but, ya know, has to go through some stuff
- this might not make sense right now but both main characters are seen as “evil” at some point

The protagonists are demonic beings who have a brother and possess fire powers, but the difference is Blue Exorcist has a Mc seeking revenge against a devil while Fire Force focuses on the firefighters fighting inferno beings. Both series are also supernatural action shounen anime that feature awesome battles and sound effects including the flame visuals 🔥
