Both series often attempt to understand the struggle of fitting into society as a result of the differences the main character possess from individuals around them. However, as they better understand how to utilize and control their powers, they subsequently grow closer, and forge deeper bonds with those around them, eventually understanding and better adapting to the environment they find themselves in. Mob Psycho 100 also offers more fluent and developed writing/plot than Charlotte, with the cast being more diverse, and intriguing to watch than Charlotte (other than Tomori & Misa), with the length of the production providing more enticing entertainment than Charlotte, ultimately demonstrating
