Both take a deeper approach on the subject of bullying and the effect it plays on the victim. While Koe no Katachi focus' more on the aftermath of bullying and redemption, Sangatsu 2nd Season focus' more on the actual events of bullying and dealing with it atm.

The pure, raw emotion coming from both of these anime hit me like a freaking truck. Both are very artistically symbolic and deal with themes such as bullying.
