Both series has great animation style as well as a well performed soundtrack mixed in with the action, drama, comedy, and later themes of romance.
Both series also contain a variety of characters with various personalities.
Both series also contain tragedy and more emotional drama later on in the series as plot holes and the story moves further.
Epic space battles, good music and ofc mecha. Where Gundam 00 lack in romance " Setsuna and Marina two "spirits" divided by sky and earth " Macross Frontier will provide an unforgettable experience also thanks Yoko Kanno, May'n and Megumi Nakajima under stagenames Sheryl Nome and Ranka Lee.
