-Mankind other hope for survival lays in the hands of soldiers whom were tasked to fight them kaijuu like creatures.
Dissimilarities:
Deca Dence;
Their sactury was some taken out from the 2018 movie "Mortal Engines."
The people there have a large army to deal with them kaijuu like ceatures.
The character story plot revolves around one very young girl to an older guy kind of thing.

Both shows are extremely similar. Giant beasts appear out of nowhere and kill the majority of humanity. The surviving humans are forced to live inside an impenetrable fortress. Main character aspires to become a soldier so they can fight the beasts that killed their parent. Soldiers fight the giant beasts with gear that lets them practically fly in the air.
Humanity struggles to attain freedom in a world dominated by other life forms. Though, Deca-Dence wasn't as thrilling as SNK in my eyes, the show took great turns and timed the plot twists perfectly even though it only had 12 episodes to wrap up the story.

If you want something that is related to post-apocalypse then Attack on titan and Deca-Dence is the best for you.Both of these animes have great plot-twist that you will never forget.Both have great world-building.Both have badass character.There are no reasons that you will hate these animes.Although the mc of attack on titan may seem a bit annoying but he has undergone great character development at the end of s3 so don't drop them watch it till the end.
