The main characters (Kamui/Miharu) are fourteen/fifteen years old boys who are initially indifferent and antisocial, with a traumatic childhood and a great power inside them.
The BL-esque art style and vibes are also similar, and you’ll find quite a lot of bishounen in both.
X is way darker and sadder, but Nabari is far from being a happy-go-lucky anime.
